Working as a Solicitor within the team, you will have the opportunity to work on a varied and interesting caseload, working on both contentious and non-contentious construction cases. As part of this growing team, you will work alongside an experienced and extremely highly thought of Partner.

The team works across the whole spectrum of construction and engineering disputes including advising on construction and engineering projects as well as procurement law. Recent highlights for the team include:

• Working on a new supermarket development for a major chain;
• Working on a large residential scheme in London’s Docklands with some mixed use;
• Acting in ICC arbitration in connection with an infrastructure project.

Very much a client-focused firm and as such, you must be passionate about client care, have an excellent telephone and face-to-face manner and maintain a professional demeanor even in challenging environments. Given the nature of the role, you will be highly organised and be able to work pragmatically with the ability to prioritise your workload as required.

We’d like you to proactively get involved with business development opportunities and keep up to date with any changes to the law. You’ll be an exceptional team player with the ability to work collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and to develop other team members.

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual with an interest in engineering and construction. You will be commercially minded and you will have the confidence to work autonomously, taking the lead on some matters from the very beginning.
